We Believe

The following statements are our ‘official’ (yet brief) basis of faith:

We believe in

• The divinity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
• The fall of man and his recovery by the free and sovereign grace of God
• Man’s redemption by Jesus Christ alone and justification by faith in Him
• The sacred scriptures as the rule of conduct
• The inseparable connection of holiness of the life with the pardon of sin
• The personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ in glory
• The unity of the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the sovereignty of God in creation, providence and redemption
• The ordinance of Believer’s Baptism by immersion as instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ
• The ordinance of the Lord’s Supper as instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ
